Unibexs is looking for a talented Video Editor to join our content team on a remote freelance basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content for social media and digital platforms, transforming raw footage and creative ideas into engaging content that represents our brand identity. We are looking for someone with strong creative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines.
Responsibilities
Edit and assemble video footage for promotional content and social media platforms.
Add graphics, titles, transitions, and visual effects to enhance storytelling and viewer experience.
Sync audio tracks, perform color correction, and adjust lighting to achieve professional video quality.
Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and creative direction. Maintain organized project files and ensure efficient file management.
Manage multiple projects while meeting agreed deadlines.
Ensure all videos meet brand guidelines and platform requirements.
Stay updated with video editing trends, software updates, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
Minimum 1 year of experience in video editing.
Proven video editing experience with a portfolio showcasing previous work.
Proficiency in video editing software such as:
○ Adobe Premiere Pro ○ Final Cut Pro ○ DaVinci Resolve ○ or similar tools.
Strong skills in:
○ Video Editing & Post-Production
○ Audio Editing and Synchronization
○ Color Correction & Color Grading
○ Motion Graphics, Animation & Visual Effects (VFX)
Strong understanding of storytelling, video pacing, and audience engagement.
Ability to prepare videos for different digital platforms with proper formats, resolutions, and specifications.
Strong file management and project organization skills.
High productivity with the ability to manage deadlines independently.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
Detail-oriented with the ability to implement feedback efficiently.
Ability to follow brand guidelines and maintain consistent quality
