These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the Unibexs platform and services operated by Unibexs Sdn. Bhd. ("Unibexs", "we", "our", or "us").
By accessing or using the Unibexs platform, you agree to comply with these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the platform.
1. About Unibexs
Unibexs Sdn. Bhd. operates a technology platform designed to support international student recruitment by connecting education advisors with universities.
Unibexs acts as a facilitator and platform provider and does not operate as a university, educational institution, or visa authority.
Unibexs does not guarantee admission, visa approval, or academic outcomes.
2. Eligibility
Users of the platform must:
Be at least 18 years old, or
Use the platform with the supervision or consent of a parent or legal guardian.
By registering an account, users confirm that the information provided is accurate and complete.
3. Advisor Accounts
Education advisors ("Advisors") may register on the platform to submit student applications to partner universities.
Advisors agree to:
Provide accurate information about themselves and any students they represent
Submit authentic and valid documents
Communicate honestly with students and universities
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Advisors are independent users of the platform and are not employees, representatives, or agents of Unibexs.
4. Platform Role and Responsibilities
Unibexs provides a digital platform that allows advisors to submit and track student applications to partner universities.
Unibexs:
Does not control admission decisions made by universities
Does not control visa decisions made by immigration authorities
Does not guarantee application approval or student outcomes
All admission decisions remain solely with the respective universities.
5. Student Applications
Advisors may submit student applications through the platform by providing the information and documents required by the selected universities.
Advisors are responsible for ensuring that:
Student information is accurate
All documents submitted are authentic
Students understand the application process and requirements
Unibexs reserves the right to reject or suspend applications that appear fraudulent, incomplete, or misleading.
6. Commissions
Advisors may receive commissions for successful student enrollments where applicable.
6.1 Commission eligibility generally requires:
The student to be accepted by the university
The student to successfully enroll
The university to confirm the enrollment
The university to release commission payment to Unibexs
Unibexs will process advisor commissions after receiving the corresponding payment from the university.
Unibexs does not guarantee commission payments if the university does not release the commission.
Commission amounts, structures, and payment timelines may vary depending on the university partnership agreements.
6.2 Tax Deductions, Withholding, and Transfer Charges
Unibexs may deduct or withhold 10% from advisor commission payments where the advisor does not operate through a valid Malaysian registered company or does not provide sufficient Malaysian tax/company documentation.
Advisors operating through a valid Malaysian registered company shall be responsible for their own tax reporting and tax obligations.
All bank transfer fees, international transfer charges, intermediary bank fees, receiving bank charges, payment gateway fees, and currency conversion costs shall be borne by the advisor and may be deducted from the final commission payment.
Commission payments are made only after Unibexs receives the corresponding commission from the university and after any applicable deductions, taxes, or transfer charges.
7. Advisor Independence
Advisors operate independently and may maintain their own relationships with universities, students, or organizations.
Unibexs does not restrict advisors from engaging with universities outside the platform.
However, advisors must not misuse the platform or engage in activities that harm the reputation of Unibexs or its partners.
8. Prohibited Conduct
Users of the platform must not:
Submit fraudulent or forged documents
Misrepresent student information
Engage in misleading recruitment practices
Attempt to manipulate application outcomes
Use the platform for illegal activities
Attempt to interfere with the platform's functionality or security
Any violation may result in account suspension or termination.
9. Suspension and Termination
Unibexs reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account at its discretion if:
Fraudulent activity is suspected
Platform rules are violated
Misconduct occurs
Information provided is inaccurate or misleading
Termination may result in the loss of access to platform features and services.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unibexs shall not be liable for:
University admission decisions
Visa application outcomes
Delays or decisions made by third parties
Financial losses resulting from student application outcomes
Any indirect or consequential damages arising from platform use
The platform is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis.
12. Changes to the Platform
Unibexs may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the platform at any time to improve services or comply with legal requirements.
We may also update these Terms periodically.
Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
Any disputes arising from the use of the platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
